Geir Frode has been with Epax since 2005, and we are proud to have him on our team!

The GOED member extraordinare award is a new effort from GOED to hounour industry leaders in different fields. In addition to Geir Frode, Dimitri Sclabos Katevas from Tharos Ltd (Chile) and Sinan Muderrisoglu from Sifar (Turkey) were also recognised as 'member extraorinare', contributing to increase global awareness to EPA and DHA.

Geir Frode is of course thrilled about the award, and comments: The award came as a complete surprise to me, yet I deeply appreciated the acknowledgment for my contributions within the "GOED technical committee." It also serves as validation for the quality upheld by Epax, a company I've been actively engaged with in the committee for over 15 years. With nearly two decades dedicated to analyzing Omega-3, I've amassed considerable expertise in the field. My involvement stems from a genuine passion for the intricacies of Omega-3 analysis methods.

Recognition of my lengthy tenure and willingness to share insights on Omega-3 analysis is the reason behind this award. I've consistently advocated for transparency in sharing such information within GOED, believing it benefits the entire industry, including entities like Epax. Furthermore, I've actively contributed input and analysis data to GOED's technical committee, ensuring that the process remains anonymous and impartial.
