The Austral Group, a sister subsidiary and supplier of omega-3 crude fish oil to Epax AS, has won the 2008 National Peruvian
Responsible Management contest and received an award for the “Cleanest and most Eco-Efficient Production” for their Environmental
Management System Model. Now in its fourth year, this contest was initiated by the Peruvian Ministry of the Environment to
promote appropriate environmental management practices of private, public and government-owned entities.
