EPAX’s business is based on processing natural resources from the sea, and it has specialised in the production of concentrated
omega-3 from fatty fish. The company is entirely dependent on marine resources being managed in a sustainable manner, and
on the oceans remaining clean and free from waste products. EPAX will therefore endeavour to buy from businesses that are
subject to regulatory control regimes and focus on the environment and sustainability.
All by-products and waste from the company’s activities must be properly disposed of. EPAX defines waste as a resource, and
it will endeavour to find means of reusing such products.
EPAX will reduce its emissions of greenhouse gases through the optimisation of transport in connection with the company’s
business and, as far as possible, choose the most environmentally friendly means of transport.
Energy conservation should be a central part of all projects in EPAX, and it is important that the company's growth does not
result in corresponding growth in energy consumption.
EPAX must be conscious and aware of the impact of its operations on neighbours and nearby communities.
As a minimum, the company’s day-to-day operations will comply with regulations and requirements to which the company is subject.
EPAX will implement an environmental policy aimed at ensuring continued environmental improvement and the prevention of pollution.
